My main interest is in my generally larger works which I would describe as figurative surrealism. Although I paint a lot of animal portraits, some examples of which are displayed here. While viewing the pictures please remember that they are scanned images of original artwork, therefore a certain amount of detail is lost. |

Prices for animal portraits start
from £175 for a head to £500 for entire animals.* The portraits are
painted from photographs, which I normally take myself, but if this
isn't posible, I can work from your photographs if they are of good
quality.
Pet portraits normally take between three to six weeks to complete,
depending on my work load at the time.
I try to capture the character and spirit of the animal in my paintings.
In having a portrait painted of your pet you will have something unique
and lasting. I hope the quality of the examples in my galleries speak
for themselves.
*Heads are painted slightly less
than life size.
Price quoted includes framing, but excludes carriage.
