I saw a golden sunrise,
That I could hold in just one hand.
A silver mist hung in the air
As I walked along the strand.
Then I watched the tiny fishing boats
Sail out to meet the Sun.
As seabirds followed in their wake
A new day had begun.
I stopped beside a crystal stream
And stared into it's race.
Then with cupped hands
I lifted cooling water to my face.
It's taste was sweet upon my tongue
And soothing to my lips.
As Sun kissed, sparkling diamonds
Ran through my finger tips.
Climbing to a hill top high
Where I surveyed the scene.
So peaceful there as I sat down
Beneath the shady green.
All the beauty there before me,
And all my eyes could see.
Mother Nature's miracles
That she had shown to me.
Now the sky is turning red
And the Moon is on the rise
The world turns on,and soon
A billion stars fill up the sky.
I see the brightest, Morning star,
That slowly brings the dawn.
And so it comes full circle
Another day is born.
