Richard moved to Lincolnshire in 1980.
From 1982-1984 he gave private tuition to two amateur painting
groups and started to paint pet portraits. He
moved to Wragby in 1986 where he now works from his studio at
his home, which he shares with his wife Frances, and Barney the
dog.
He is a regular exhibitor at open exhibitions
and galleries in Lincolnshire. He gives demonstrations in oil
painting and holds regular one-day workshops for local art groups,
and designs and paints sets for a local amateur dramatic society
