Commissioning a painting

Pet Portrait Commissions
I work in oils on canvas. Dogs and cats are generally painted life size. Horses are generally painted smaller than life size, although this depends on an individual client's requirements, and of course, available wall space to hang your painting!
I work from photographs which I usually take myself, but if for any reason this isn't possible, I can often work from a client's own photos if they are of good quality.
Prices for pet portraits
As an example. A typical head and shoulders of a Labrador Retriever on a canvas of 16" x 20" would be £300.
Horses require a larger canvas, usually 20" x 24" and heads are £350.
